I’m truly sorry you’ve found yourself here, but I’m proud of you for showing up. It takes courage and strength to take this step. We each arrive at this place through different stories, yet the feelings we carry often echo one another. You’ve already endured the most painful experience of your life, and now we begin the journey forward - gently, at your pace, with hope for the future.
This is a non-judgmental, safe environment. Newly bereaved can experience intense emotions and need help processing. Anger, shame, or criticism toward yourself or others can occur. We will help you process these complicated emotions and steer you towards releasing them. Since this is a safe space, criticism or judgement of others will not be tolerated. You are welcome to participate fully or simply sit quietly among others as you navigate this emotional time. Your presence alone is enough.
As a certified Grief Coach, I provide a parent-centered support system designed to help you navigate loss, process complex emotions, and regain balance in your daily life. My approach is grounded in lived experience and built on the understanding that every grief journey is unique. Because no two stories are the same, this is not a one-size-fits-all program - it’s a space tailored to your needs, your pace, and your own way forward.
Grief After the Loss of a Child
What I’ve discovered is that no two losses follow the same path, yet each of us can walk alongside one another as we find our way forward.
Hi, I’m Tammy - Brent’s mom, and my experience with profound loss is what brought me to you today.
I am a certified Grief Coach, and my work is deeply rooted in personal experience. I lost my son-my only child-when he was 23. Living with that loss has shaped every part of who I am, and it continues to guide how I support others. Over the past 15 years, I’ve learned that while many professionals mean well, those who haven’t endured the devastation of losing a child often can’t fully understand the depth of this journey. Grief changes you in ways that can only be understood from the inside.
How Grief Coaching Can Support You
Grief coaching offers structured, client-centered support to help you navigate loss, process emotions, and regain balance. It focuses on guidance, accountability, and practical coping strategies. Together, we explore your grief patterns, set meaningful emotional goals, and build resilience for growth.
This work is about moving forward while honoring your unique grief process.
Please note that grief coaching is not therapy; it does not diagnose or treat mental health conditions. Instead, it provides compassionate, forward-focused support for those seeking a way through the pain.
